1 person dead, 7 others treated after 3-vehicle crash results in fire in Modesto
(FOX40.COM) — One person is dead and seven others were taken to the hospital after a three-vehicle crash resulted in a car fire on Saturday, according to the Modesto Fire Department. MPD said crews responded to reports of a crash around 2:13 a.m. in the 1100 block of Ladd Road. Crews arrived to find three cars involved in a crash, one of them on fire. The fire was extinguished, and one person was declared dead at the scene. According to MPD, another person was flown to a nearby trauma center and six others were taken to the hospital.
