1 man killed in crash on Indy’s southeast side
INDIANAPOLIS - An investigation is underway after one man was killed in a crash on Indy's southeast side Saturday morning. According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, just after 6 a.m., officers responded to the 6200 block of South Arlington Avenue on the report of a personal injury crash. When officers arrived on scene, they located a single vehicle off the roadway. The sole occupant of the vehicle, Jeremiah Grinder, was pronounced deceased, police said. Investigators believe the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. IMPD said traffic will be impacted for "several hours" and is asking drivers to seek alternative routes.
