1 killed in Lexington Township crash involving car, semi
CANTON, Ohio (WJW) -- One person was killed in a Monday, June 15, crash involving a semi-truck driver and the driver of a passenger car in Lexington Township. Stark County sheriff's deputies responded just after 12:30 p.m. to the 13100 block of state Route 225 in the township, according to a news release. The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene. That person's identity has not been released. The driver of the semi-truck was transported to a hospital with minor injuries. The sheriff's office and the Canton Metro Crash Team are continuing to investigate the crash.
