1 killed, another hurt in Seven Corners pedestrian crash
FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) -- Police are investigating a Thursday night pedestrian crash that left one man dead and another hurt. In a post to the X platform shortly before 7:30 p.m., the Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) said officers were called to the Leesburg Pike and Munson Hill Road area near Seven Corners for reports of pedestrians being struck. There, officers located a male pedestrian and transported him to the hospital, where he later died. His identity has not been released. Police said the second pedestrian, also a man, was found nearby. The man had also been hit but was reportedly unharmed. The driver of the striking vehicle stayed at the scene, according to police. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
