1 killed, 3 injured in truck crash on I-95 in Howard County
Traffic on Interstate 95 in Howard County was severely impacted on Monday morning due to a tragic accident that resulted in one fatality and injuries to three others. The collision occurred just after 5:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes near Route 100. The Maryland State Police reported that a dump truck collided with a tractor-trailer, causing the death of the dump truck driver, Lazaro Miranda. Two passengers in the truck were airlifted to a medical center, while the driver of the tractor-trailer was taken to the hospital. The crash is currently under investigation, and traffic diversions are in place as emergency crews continue cleanup efforts. Commuters are advised to seek alternate routes to avoid delays on I-95 South.
