Traffic on Interstate 95 in Howard County was severely impacted on Monday morning due to a tragic accident that resulted in one fatality and injuries to three others. The collision occurred just after 5:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes near Route 100. The Maryland State Police reported that a dump truck collided with a tractor-trailer, causing the death of the dump truck driver, Lazaro Miranda. Two passengers in the truck were airlifted to a medical center, while the driver of the tractor-trailer was taken to the hospital.
