1 killed, 2 wounded in Fairfax County accident
A tragic accident on Route One in Fairfax County has resulted in the death of a taxi driver and critical injuries to two others. The collision occurred on Richmond Highway and involved a Metrobus, minivan, and taxicab, with the taxi driver losing their life in the crash. The incident took place in the northbound lanes of Richmond Highway near the Beltway in Alexandria. Fairfax County police reported that the bus and minivan were halted at a red light when the taxi collided with the minivan, leading to the subsequent collision with the bus. Thankfully, the four passengers and Metrobus operator were unharmed in the accident.
