1 juvenile dead, 1 juvenile injured after single-vehicle crash on Indiana Avenue, Winston-Salem police say
One juvenile is dead and another is injured after a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning, according to the Winston-Salem Police Department.Just after 1:45 a.m., officers responded to the 5700 block of Indiana Avenue and found a 2005 Honda with two injured juveniles.Emergency medical aid was provided immediately for both juveniles. The driver was taken to a local medical facility with serious injuries. The passenger died at the scene.Investigators said the vehicle was traveling west on Indiana Avenue, toward Bethabara Road, lost control, left the roadway, struck part of a bridge, and came to rest in the roadway.
