1 fatality, 2 injured in Clinton Township collision
A tragic incident occurred in Clinton Township on Monday night, resulting in one fatality and two individuals being hospitalized following a collision, as reported by the Charter Township of Clinton Police Department. The crash took place around 8 p.m. on westbound Metropolitan Parkway near Groesbeck Highway. The drivers of a Ford Transit Connect van and a Ford Mustang were stopped at a red light when a Ram Promaster driver rear-ended the Mustang, causing it to collide with the van. Sadly, the 27-year-old Mustang driver from Ann Arbor was pronounced dead at the hospital. The occupants of the Ram vehicle initially left the scene but were later located and hospitalized.
