1 dead after rollover crash in Fresno County
FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A person is dead after a rollover crash Thursday evening in Fresno County, CHP says. Officials say that the crash happened at around 8 p.m. on McCall Avenue, just north of California Avenue. CHP says the vehicle was traveling northbound on McCall Avenue, when the driver lost control of the vehicle and overturned to the west into a vineyard. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. According to CHP, the driver was not wearing a seat belt, and drugs or alcohol do appear to have played a factor in the crash. This is an ongoing investigation.
