1 dead after motorcycle, tractor-trailer crash in Braddock
FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) -- A man died in a motorcycle crash in the Braddock area near Centreville Tuesday afternoon. In a post shared to the X platform at 2:15 p.m., the Fairfax County Police Department said officers responded to a deadly crash at Route 29 and Meadow Estates, where a motorcyclist and a tractor-trailer were involved in a crash. The motorcyclist, a man, died at the scene of the crash. The route reopened just before 5 p.m. Police have not yet identified the motorcyclist or the driver of the tractor trailer. Crash reconstruction detectives were on scene for several hours investigating. FCPD said more updates are likely to come Wednesday.
