1 dead, 3 seriously injured in 2-car crash in Clackamas County
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- One person died and three people were hospitalized with serious injuries following a two-car crash on Hwy 26 Saturday night, Oregon State Police announced. The crash occurred just before 5:45 p.m. near milepost 31. Investigators say that a person driving east in a Nissan Frontier crossed over into the westbound lane and struck a Honda Accord. The driver of the Frontier, as well as two occupants of the Honda, suffered serious injuries. Austin Buchholtz, 24, the rear passenger in the Honda, was declared dead at the scene. OSP says the crash is still under investigation.
