LAYTON, Utah (ABC4) — One person is dead and three others are seriously injured after a head-on vehicle collision in Layton. According to Layton Police Department, the crash occurred between 1800 East Oak Hills Dr. and 2250 East Oak Hills Dr. The crash reportedly involved two vehicles. One person was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of their injuries and three others were transported to the hospital with "serious injuries," according to police. The identity of the deceased individual has not been released at this time pending the notification of family. Oak Hills Drive is completely closed in both directions while crews investigate. Layton Police expect the closure to last at least several hours. Police are asking drivers to avoid the area and seek alternate routes if possible.
