1 dead, 3 injured in violent Friday morning crash in Philadelphia
One person is dead and three are injured following a violent early morning car crash in Philadelphia's Walnut Hill neighborhood.Investigators say the crash involved six cars, but only two of them were occupied.First responders were called to the area of Walnut and South 48th street around 4 a.m. for reports of a deadly crash. The violent, multi-car crash left a path of destruction, including one car that slammed into the front of a building.Officials say one person was killed in the crash and three people were taken to Penn Presbyterian Hospital for treatment.A total of six cars were involved in the crash, but police say only two were occupied.Investigators have not said how the crash happened. The conditions of the three people taken to the hospital were not released.
