1 dead, 2 seriously injured in Wilmington crash
One person is dead and two more were hospitalized in critical condition following a two-car crash in Wilmington Saturday night. The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the crash on the 2500 block of Anaheim Street at 10:10 p.m. Firefighters extricated two people from the wreckage, including a 35-year-old woman who was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The other trapped patient was pronounced dead at the scene. A woman, roughly 40 years old, was ejected from her vehicle during the crash. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Authorities have not identified the person killed in the crash at this time. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
