1 dead, 2 seriously injured after head-on collision on Oregon highway
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- An Oregon man died on Sunday after a two-car crash on Hwy 30, Oregon State Police announced. The crash occurred just after 7 p.m. near milepost 48 in Columbia County. Investigators say that a man driving a gray Subaru Outback west on the highway near Rainer crossed into the eastbound lane and crashed into a red Ford Focus. The driver of the Ford, Randy Bloom, was declared dead at the scene. The passenger of the Ford and the driver of the Outback were both hospitalized with serious injuries. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
