1 critically injured in crash Tropicana near Maryland Parkway
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to a two-vehicle collision at Tropicana and Tamarus near Maryland Parkway around 7 a.m. Police say the driver of one of the vehicles was transported to an area hospital with critical injuries. The other driver was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. LVMPD said fatal detectives will respond and take over the investigation. The intersection is expected to remain closed until the collision is cleared, and motorists are advised to take an alternate route. The crash remains under investigation by the LVMPD Traffic Bureau.
