Wrong-way crash on I-16 leaves two dead
Above Video: Your Sunday Morning Headlines The Savannah Police Department’s Traffic Investigative Unit (TIU) is investigating a June 20 crash on Interstate 16 that left two people dead.Police said a preliminary investigation found that at about 3:40 a.m., 22-year-old Naveeshia Moore drove westbound in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 16. At the same time, 41-year-old Michael Fripp drove in the center lane of eastbound Interstate 16.[image id='d43bb6ce-8739-4845-a04f-086bac39ec1a' mediaId='ca46d362-3f01-45ce-8d42-2b27366055dd' align='center' size='medium' share='true' caption='' expand='' crop='2x1'][/image]Police said Moore struck Fripp’s vehicle near mile marker 163.
