In a post to Facebook shortly after 7 p.m., police said the crash occurred in the area of Cardinal and Whips Run Dr. Details remain limited, but officers told DC News Now that "multiple people have been transported to area hospitals with unknown injuries." As of 9:30 p.m. Sunday, the area of Cardinal and Whips Run Dr. remains closed until further notice as officers investigate the crash.
