Woman who left Saratoga Hospital steals car, dies in crash hours later
The Saratoga County Sheriff's Office says a female driver died in a crash involving a stolen car in the Town of Greenfield overnight. According to the sheriff's office, the woman stole a vehicle in the area of Saratoga Hospital on Seward Street. We're told the vehicle drove west on Denton Road, crashing into a tree at the intersection of Locust Grove Road and burst into flames. Just after 4:00 a.m. the driver, whose name was not released, was declared dead at the scene. The Sheriff's office says the investigation is ongoing.
