Woman unable to access apartment after car crashes into it.
A 67-year-old woman named Marcia Shawn was unable to enter her apartment for two months after a car crashed through the front wall while she was out running errands. Shawn, an amputee living at the Reisterstown Senior Complex, was left without her belongings, including important documents and her life savings, as her landlord had locked her out of her unit following the accident. Despite attempts to contact the landlord through her lawyer, there has been no response, leaving Shawn frustrated and contemplating legal action. Severn Management, the property management company responsible for the building, has not provided any explanation for their actions. Efforts by news outlets to reach out to the company have also remained unanswered.
