Woman pleads not guilty in fatal UTV crash in Okeechobee County

A woman accused of operating a four-seat Utility Terrain Vehicle while under the influence that led to a deadly crash entered a plea in court.According to court documents in Okeechobee County, Blanca Y. Ruiz Dominguez, 25, from Vero Beach, pleaded not guilty on Thursday, June 4, to charges of DUI manslaughter, and two counts of driving under the influence – impairment and/or damage to property or person.Dominguez, who was born in Honduras, is accused of driving a UTV vehicle with three other passengers that crashed and killed 34-year-old Seydi Dariela Galeano Salinas, a resident of Port St. Lucie.Your neighborhood: Local coverage from WPBF 25 NewsTwo other women were injured in the crash that occurred on Saturday, May 16 at 21021 NW 240th Street in rural Okeechobee County.Ruiz Dominguez is accused of drinking whiskey and beer before the crash. A Florida Highway Patrol report stated that Ruiz Dominguez had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.128% after the crash, which is above the Florida limit of 0.08%.Salinas, a single mother, leaves behind two teenage boys and a girl.
