Woman from Westland faces numerous felony charges in deadly New Year's Day collision

Jasmine Wynn, 27, was arrested at her home in Westland following an incident on New Year's Day where a 61-year-old man lost his life in a hit-and-run accident. Wynn faces charges including operating a vehicle while intoxicated, obstructing a police officer, and leaving the scene of an accident, with a possible maximum sentence of 22 years in prison if found guilty. Judge William Burton issued a $10,000 personal bond for Wynn, along with an alcohol monitoring device. She is scheduled to appear in 18th District Court on January 15 for her probable cause conference.
