Woman ejected from car, dies in fatal crash
(FOX40.COM) — A woman is dead after she was ejected from a vehicle during a crash Wednesday in Sacramento. Just after 1:15 p.m., officers with the Sacramento Police Department responded to reports that a vehicle struck a parked car in the 5600 block of Hi Valley Drive. A female passenger of the vehicle that was driving was ejected, officers said. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment but succumbed to her injuries and died Wednesday afternoon. Investigators from the department's major collision and CSI division have taken over the investigation. Those officers are now processing the scene, collecting evidence and speaking with those involved in the crash.
