Woman dies from injuries days after crash, coroner says
MONROE TWP., SNYDER COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — According to the Montour County Coroner, a woman died Friday, May 1 after spending several days in the hospital due to injuries sustained in an April 28 crash. Lynda Smith of Lewisburg was driving her vehicle and 5:30 p.m. and pulled into the intersection of State Route 15 and Granger Road, where she was struck by another vehicle, according to the coroner. Smith was transported to Geisinger Medical Center with multiple blunt force injuries, which she succumbed to Friday. There will be no autopsy.
