Woman, 84, dies after 3-car crash outside Fort Wayne: coroner
Video shows prior coverage of the crash ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) - An 84-year-old woman died after a three-car crash earlier this week, the Allen County Coroner's Office announced Friday. The collision happened Wednesday near the intersection of Tonkel Road and State Road 1. That's just northeast of Fort Wayne city limits. The coroner identified the woman as Susan Hoffman from Fort Wayne. Her cause of death was multiple blunt impact injuries from the crash. The coroner ruled her manner of death an accident, which is the standard ruling for crashes. The fatal collision is still under investigation.
