Woman, 68, killed in fatal scooter crash in Oregon, IL
A tragic incident occurred in rural Oregon, Illinois, where a woman lost her life after her scooter was hit by a pickup truck. The Ogle County Sheriff's Office reported that Kathryn Good, 68, from Streamwood, was riding her 2018 Yamaha SMAX scooter on 5000 W. Pines Road when a 2017 black Ford F-150, driven by Jason Sweazy, 54, from Chicago, turned into a private drive. The impact resulted in Good's death at the scene. The authorities have not yet announced any charges as they continue to investigate the crash.
