Winston-Salem officers: 18-year-old pedestrian hit on Reynolds Park Road; seriously injured
An 18-year-old pedestrian was seriously injured in a crash, according to the Winston-Salem Police Department.Police said they were called to the crash in the 2100 block of Reynolds Park Road around 4:20 p.m. Investigators said the 18-year-old attempted to cross the road outside a marked crosswalk and was hit by an 85-year-old man driving a 2004 Dodge Ram.The pedestrian was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition. Police said the driver remained at the scene and was cooperative.The road has since reopened.This story may be updated if more information becomes available.
