West Virginia State Police adds update on fatal Princeton crash

PRINCETON, WV (WVNS) -- The West Virginia State Police provided additional information in relation to a fatal accident in the Princeton area of Mercer County on Thursday, May 14, 2026. According to a WVSP press release, a car carrying Aden King, 19, of Bluefield, and a minor passenger reportedly traveled into the oncoming lane and hit a Bluefield Area Transit Bus. King and the minor were both pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the bus was taken by helicopter for further medical treatment. The City of Bluefield's Facebook page posted a statement about the status of the bus driver. The investigation into the fatal accident remains ongoing. Stick with 59News as updates become available.
