West Linn woman dies in single-car accident near Milwaukie
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A 25-year-old West Linn woman died early Thursday after her car veered off Interstate 205 near Milwaukie and crashed into a tree, according to Oregon State Police. At around 2:41 a.m., Oregon State Police responded to a report that there was a single-car crash later determined to be fatal. Sidney Rae Lewis, 25, was driving a black Volkswagen Jetta going north on I-205 near Milwaukie. For reasons undisclosed, the car veered off and hit a tree. Lewis was declared dead at the scene. Investigators remained on scene for three hours. This is a developing story.
