Virginia teenager arrested for intentionally setting multiple fires in small town
A teenager has been taken into custody in connection with a series of three structure fires that occurred in the small town of Stony Creek in rural Sussex County within a span of seven days. One of the incidents, which took place on Sunday afternoon, resulted in an empty home being engulfed in flames and spreading to a neighboring vacant house. The Stony Creek Fire Department reported that this was the third fire to hit the town of about 175 residents in a week. Local authorities suspect the teenager is behind all three arson incidents.
