Vigil in Watertown honors relatives killed in accident
The Armenian Memorial Church in Watertown, Massachusetts, recently hosted a candlelight vigil in memory of two individuals who tragically lost their lives in a car accident on December 23. The victims, Arie Orchanian and Anie Manoushagian, were long-time members of the church, with Arie being described as a kind and dedicated individual with a bright future within the church community. Many parishioners gathered to pay their respects to the deceased. Pastor Aram Bedrossian fondly remembered Anie as a compassionate woman who selflessly took care of others. The accident occurred while the two were attending a family funeral at the church, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation due to the street's low speed limit and presence of speed bumps. As authorities continue to look into the incident, no charges have been filed yet. Preparing for further updates, NewsCenter 5 has reached out to Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan's office and the Watertown Police Department.
