Video shows Oak Brook police rescuing driver trapped in car fire
Video from a dashcam captured Oak Brook police in action as they saved a driver from a burning car on the Ronald Reagan Memorial Tollway early Sunday morning. Authorities noticed a speeding sedan on Route 83 around 3:30 a.m. and chose to pursue it. The vehicle crashed on I-88, flipped over, and ignited. The footage revealed officers swiftly intervening, bravely rescuing the trapped driver. Fortunately, the driver only suffered minor injuries and was promptly taken to the hospital. The incident is currently being investigated.
