Video shows collision between UHP and Unified PD vehicles on I-15.
Recently released video footage from a dashboard camera captures a dramatic rollover accident involving two law enforcement vehicles in West Bountiful. Fortunately, no injuries were reported despite the vehicle flipping multiple times across southbound lanes on Interstate 15. The incident, which took place on January 15, involved three vehicles including a Utah Highway Patrol trooper and an unmarked Unified Police Department car. The crash occurred when passing motorists failed to abide by traffic safety regulations, leading to a collision as one of the troopers was attempting to address a vehicle that had not given sufficient clearance. The collision caused the trooper's vehicle to roll into multiple lanes on the highway and collide with the UPD car. Watch the video below to see the I-15 crash that resulted in the rollover accident.
