Video shows car launching into air, driver lands in pool

Alarming video captured by a southern Nevada home surveillance camera depicts a dramatic scene where a car crashed through a backyard wall, became airborne, and threw the driver into a private swimming pool. The incident occurred in late December in Laughlin and was reported by FOX 5 Las Vegas. The driver was allegedly speeding, failed to stop, and crashed through the concrete wall. The vehicle rotated through the air, hitting the pool house roof before landing at the pool's edge. The homeowner described the loud crash and chaos that followed, with the woman found floating in the pool. Fortunately, the driver survived and was assisted out of the pool. The crash severely damaged the backyard oasis, which included a resort-style pool. Estimates suggest repairs could approach $300,000, and the pool may need draining due to contamination from motor oil. The driver was taken to a hospital in Arizona for evaluation. FOX News is reaching out to local law enforcement for further details.
