VIDEO: Recent footage of search and rescue mission post BASE jumper incident

Recently, a video was released showcasing a search and rescue mission in Grand County, Utah, where a BASE jumper was found hanging from a cliff. The footage, obtained by ABC4, captures the effort led by search and rescue personnel from the Grand County Sheriff's Office on November 12, 2025. The teams were deployed to the Kane Creek area and successfully reached the patient, who was treated for moderate injuries by 3:15 p.m. The video shows the patient being carefully secured to prevent further danger. The Department of Public Safety Aero Bureau later hoisted the individual to safety by 4 p.m. The Grand County Sheriff's Office emphasized that these types of operations are part of their regular training and that they are dedicated to serving the community and ensuring everyone's safety. Currently, the patient is reported to be in a stable condition and not facing life-threatening injuries.
