Video captures driver crashing into patio of Pennsylvania Bakery in Cumberland County
An incident occurred at a bakery in Cumberland County over the weekend where a car crashed into their patio, narrowly missing the building. Luckily, the building itself was not hit, but the patio did sustain significant damage. The Pennsylvania Bakery employee mentioned that the crash, which took place just after noon on Sunday, was captured on the bakery's security camera and the footage has been shared with WGAL News 8. Fortunately, there were no injuries from the crash. The driver involved in the accident reportedly confessed to police that they had been drinking on that day. Police are currently awaiting the results of a blood test to determine if DUI charges will be pressed against the driver. Despite the incident, The Pennsylvania Bakery is operating as usual during their normal business hours.
