Victim reported dead at scene of overnight crash
MAPLE HEIGHTS, Ohio (WJW) - One person was reported dead on the scene of an overnight crash in Maple Heights. The crash was reported at about 12:30 a.m. on Monday near the intersection of Dunham Road and Industrial Avenue. According to a FOX 8 photographer on the scene, the victim's body was found in the middle of the street, next to the car. In a media release, police said that the vehicle had possibly struck very large landscaping stones. The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but police said speed is believed to be a factor.
