Vehicle goes off road in two-car crash in Mendon
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Four people were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital after a two-car crash in the Town of Mendon, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said one vehicle was traveling east on Pond Road when it failed to stop at a stop sign at Pittsford Mendon Center Road and struck a vehicle traveling south on Pittsford Mendon Center Road. Four people were taken from the scene to Strong Memorial Hospital for injuries later determined to be non-life-threatening, deputies said. The crash temporarily blocked traffic in the area while deputies investigated and crews cleared the scene. Pittsford Mendon Center Road and Pond Road have since reopened.
