Vehicle crashes into tree in south Oklahoma City after pursuit, police say

Two people were arrested after a pursuit damaged a police unit and ended with a crash in south Oklahoma City on Sunday evening. >> Open the video player above for more top headlines. The Oklahoma City Police Department said two people, who were believed to be juveniles, led officers on a pursuit that started near Scissortail Park in downtown Oklahoma City. During the pursuit, law enforcement officials attempted three separate tactical vehicle interventions, which are maneuvers used to stop vehicles that are involved in police chases. The juveniles were able to get away until the third TVI, which ended with the vehicle crashing into a tree, according to police. Those inside the vehicle attempted to run from the scene, but police were able to detain two juveniles.
