UPDATE: I-25 reopened after multi-vehicle crash
(COLORADO SPRINGS) — According to CDOT, all lanes of I-25 have reopened. According to CDOT, the left lane of northbound I-25 has reopened south of Cimarron. The two southbound left lanes remain closed. The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) is responding to a crash involving multiple vehicles south of Cimarron Street. According to CSFD, crews were responding shortly before 4 p.m. to a crash in the southbound lanes of I-25 just south of Cimarron. CSFD said the two left lanes of southbound I-25 were closed, and the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) reports the left lane of northbound I-25 is also closed. CSFD did not say how many vehicles were involved, only that the crash was considered multi-vehicle. Travelers are asked to avoid the areas while crews respond.
