Two vehicle crash shut down Route 116 in Sunderland temporarily
SUNDERLAND, Mass. (WWLP) - A crash involving two vehicles closed a portion of Route 116 in Sunderland on Thursday morning. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) stated that Route 116 was closed due to the crash. The roadway has since reopened, as noted by a 22News crew at the location. MassDOT states that the crash occurred in the area of 716 Amherst Road. The Northwestern District Attorney's Office told 22News that there are no life-threatening injuries and no other information was provided at this time.
