Two-vehicle crash on intersection of McClure and University sends one to the hospital
PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- At least one person was hospitalized after a crash in Peoria. It happened at the intersection of North University Street and West McClure Avenue. A WMBD reporter saw two vehicles with what appeared to be significant damage. One person was taken from the intersection by ambulance. The severity of injuries from the crash is unknown. The intersection was partially closed immediately after the incident but has since been open. We will update this story.
