Two people injured in 3-car collision in Chesterfield
Two individuals sustained serious injuries in a three-vehicle collision in Chesterfield County on Wednesday, according to fire officials. The incident occurred around 5:41 p.m. on northbound Route 288 near Bailey Bridge Road. Limited information is currently available about the crash, but Chesterfield Fire and EMS reported that a total of five individuals were hospitalized due to injuries, with two of them in serious condition. All northbound lanes are closed as of 6:57 p.m., causing traffic congestion for about three miles.
