Two people hurt in Effingham Co. ATV accident
WATSON, Ill. (WCIA) -- Two people were hurt in Effingham County when their ATV rolled over in an accident over the weekend. The Effingham County Sheriff's Office said the crash happened on Walnut Road in Watson. Officials said the ATV was drifting in a circular motion when the vehicle tipped over and came to a rest upside down. Two people were in the vehicle: the 19-year-old driver and a 23-year-old passenger. Both were wearing seat belts, and neither were ejected from the ATV. Both were taken to the hospital with "non-incapacitating injuries," the Sheriff's Office said.
