Two people hurt after car crashes into drainage area in NW Oklahoma City
OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Two people have been taken to the hospital Saturday afternoon after a car accident near NW 35th Street and May Avenue. When the Oklahoma City Fire Department arrived on scene around 2:45 Saturday afternoon, they found two cars involved in a wreck. One car left the roadway and the other landed in a concrete drainage area approximately 20-feet deep. Firefighters used a ladder to get to the car in the drainage area and make contact with those inside. The person driving the other car involved was evaluated by medical crews and released at the scene. The two people taken to the hospital suffered minor injuries and are expected to be okay. OKCFD says to expect delays on NW 35th and May Avenue as the road is closed.
