Two people critically injured in three-car collision on Wade Avenue in Raleigh, according to police

The incident occurred on Wade Avenue's highway section close to the Blue Ridge Road on-ramp. Upon arrival, police discovered that three cars were involved in the crash. Reports indicate that two individuals sustained injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital. The North Carolina Department of Transportation issued a notice to drivers advising that only one lane was accessible as officers looked into the accident from 3:20 a.m. until approximately 6:20 a.m. that same day.
