Two killed in single-vehicle crash on I-65 in Cullman County
A man and woman are dead after a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 65 in Cullman County Tuesday. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) said 35-year-old Kristen B. Rogers, of Florence, was fatally injured when the 2012 Cadillac SRX she was driving left the roadway, struck a cable barrier and overturned. 41-year-old Danny W. Robinson, of Lexington, who was a passenger in the Cadillac, was also fatally injured. The crash happened shortly before 10:00 p.m. May 26, on I-65 near Alabama 69, about two miles southeast of Dodge City. ALEA said neither Rogers or Robinson were wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. Both were ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are continuing to investigate.
