Two killed in head-on collision on I-270
BRIDGETON, Mo. — Two people were killed in a wrong-way crash early Sunday on Interstate 270 in Bridgeton. The crash happened just after 4 a.m. on southbound I-270 at St. Charles Rock Road. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a vehicle was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes when it struck another vehicle head-on. Authorities said the roadway was fully reopened around 8 a.m. after the crash caused significant delays for early morning drivers.
