Two injured in ambulance crash in West Chester
Authorities responded to a severe collision involving an ambulance on a bustling road in West Chester on Tuesday evening. The incident occurred in the 8500 block of Beckett Road close to Beckett Park at approximately 5:40 p.m. West Chester investigators reported that an ambulance from West Chester Township was heading back from a hospital trip when the accident occurred. Two individuals in the other vehicle sustained serious injuries and were transported to UC Health West Chester Hospital. Details on their conditions and the circumstances of the crash are currently unknown. Police mentioned that the paramedics in the ambulance provided immediate care to the patients before they were taken to the hospital.
