Two hospitalized after two-vehicle crash sends car into 20-foot drainage area
Two people were hospitalized after crashing into a drainage area in northwest Oklahoma City on Saturday afternoon. The Oklahoma City Fire Department said two vehicles collided near NW 35 and May Ave. One of the vehicles went off the roadway and into a 20-foot deep drainage area near the road. Firefighters said two people were in the vehicle, and crews had to get into the drainage ditch to remove them. Both of the people in the vehicle were injured and were transported to a local hospital after crews got them back to the roadway. The driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash was assessed at the scene and refused further medical care. OKCFD said crews are still working to clear the area. This is a developing story.
